THE ORIGIN
A Canadian workshop. A different standard.
ESIA Originals was founded on the conviction that Canadian craftsmanship deserves to stand alongside the great leather ateliers of the world. Every bag we make is produced right here in Canada — not outsourced, not mass-produced, not compromised.
We source full-grain leather chosen for its character: the natural markings, the grain, the way it develops a patina unique to each owner. These aren’t flaws we hide — they’re what make your bag yours.
Our workshop is small by design. Each piece passes through the hands of experienced craftspeople who understand that quality isn’t a bullet point — it’s a practice.
THE PHILOSOPHY

The fashion industry moves fast. We don’t. We design around a single question: will this still be relevant in twenty years? If the answer isn’t a clear yes, we go back to the drawing board.

MATERIALS
Full-grain leather. Nothing less.
Full-grain is the highest grade of leather available — the outermost layer of the hide, with its natural grain intact. It’s stronger, more breathable, and more beautiful than any corrected or bonded alternative.
Over time, full-grain leather develops a patina: a deepening of colour and character that reflects every adventure, commute, and moment of use. Your ESIA bag becomes more uniquely yours the longer you carry it.
We don’t coat or emboss our leather to hide imperfections. We choose hides with natural markings that tell a story — because that story becomes yours.
